Office 2013 end of life

Outlook 2013 joined the ranks of unsupported Outlook mail apps on October 1st, 2022 when Microsoft disabled basic authentication for all their accounts. You might experience this as a problem where Outlook 2013 keeps asking for password and even though you are using the correct one, it will never go through because modern authentication office 365 is not supported in it. Switching to a newer Outlook or a differnet, modern email client like eM Client will ne needed.



Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010 end of life

While official support for Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010 ended in 2017 and 2020
respectively, which means the apps will not receive any bug or security fixes, the
programs continued to work the following years.
However, these older versions of Outlook will not be able to connect to Microsoft 365
services after November 1st, 2021.

If you use email address or server provided by Microsoft, the deadline is quickly
approaching for you to move away from these apps and since Microsoft could charge
you for the Outlook upgrade anyway or force you to switch to an unwanted Office 365
subscription, you might want to consider importing your data into a free email client or
one-time payment outlook alternatives, such as eM Client.
