Did you happen to forget your password or email address, or are you unable to
receive verification codes? We understand how frustrating this can be. But it’s not
as unsolvable as it may seem and you don't need new gmail login, bucause you can recover gmail account.
Email password recovery
Forgetting your password is a very common issue, did you know that some people
change their passwords once every two weeks because they forget them?
Resetting your Gmail password is very simple. You just need to head to the Gmail Account recovery page, enter your email address, and then you must enter your
last known password.
In case you do not remember your last password, you don’t need to worry! You can
click on the option to reset “Another way”, which will pull up a different method of
verification. It will ask you to confirm through your mobile device, in order to verify
that it is you who is trying to log in.
If you cannot verify using this method, you can click “I don’t have my phone”, and it
will then send a verification code to your backup email, which you stated in your
settings. If that is also not an option for you, you may click on “Try another way”
which will pull up your security questions.
Email address recovery
It’s not quite as difficult as it sounds to forget your email address. How many people
actually look at their email address? Some do, but many don’t, so after years of use
you might forget some details, like the number in your email name or the order of
your name and surname, or the nickname used. Nonetheless, recovering your email
isn’t impossible.
First, you head to the Gmail Account recovery page and you click “Forgot email?”.
Then you must either enter your phone number or backup email, which you stated
in your email’s settings.
Unfortunately, these are the only known methods of recovering access to your
email account. But you can try contacting Google themselves, and perhaps they
may have a different method of verification if these fail.
How to avoid such things in the future
To avoid such unpleasant situations in the future, you should consider using a
password keychain or writing down your information in a secure place.
There are some situations, though, that you cannot expect to happen, for example,
if your password gets cracked.
Password crackers usually search for basic password combinations such as
LoveMySon123 and GREATPASSWORD. These attackers will easily crack or even just
guess these kinds of passwords.
