We are more than happy to announce that eM Client reached 2000 downloads at Download.com since the launch of version 1.1.2 a month ago.
Every day we receive supportive e-mails from our customers and we would like to thank you for that. eM Client is now at a phase two of it’s development cycle and there are some great features and big changes ahead of us. We’ll keep you posted!
Your eM Client Development team.
We are just letting you know about a big update that is coming up after the Easter time.
So what is new:
- new translation tool to any language
- IMAP problems with Gmail fixed
- export mail to .EML ready
- import from MS Outlook fixed
- many interface changes
- easy RSS reader (now just set for our own eM Client web, very soon we’ll have a full configuration ready)
The update is automatic and our current users don’t have to worry, it will work fine just after the application restarts itself.
The users of Windows Vista operating system need to uninstall eM Client and then install the new version due to Vista built-in security restrictions.
We are very happy to announce that eM Client will be soon joining the Calconnect.org the Calendaring and Scheduling Consortium. We perceive it as a great chance to co-operate with the best minds in this branch of development. We’ll be regularly joining both CalConnect Interoperability Test Events and CalConnect Roundtable to present our progress as well as to learn what is new.
With Google releasing the new API for accessing Google Contacts eM Client developers are working hard to release a version with full synchronization support of both Google Calendars and Contacts.
We plan to have it ready within 2 weeks as some of the Google Contact Sync. features has never been done before.
New features in progress:
- Google Calendar Sync
- Google Contacts Sync
- ActiveSync Support
- Universal Translation Tool
